NBA Wagering – Will Milwaukee Bucks Be Great Once Again In 2010 Vs The Spread?

Do you know what squad was the best vs the NBA betting point spread a year ago? Yes, it was the Bucks. They went a sizzling 52-28-2 against the figure a year ago.  Will the Bucks be worth an NBA bet this year for sports gamblers or will they slip?

The Bucks have a fast anxiety at the sports book heading into the 2010-2011 seasons.  Center Andrew Bogut hasn’t even played yet in the preseason due to tenderness and inflammation in his right hand.  He said that he might not be totally well this year. He said he will compete through the ache this season but that he anticipates he will merely be at 85 or 90%.

Bogut has played with the Milwaukee Bucks since he was drafted in 2005. In his 1st year, he was named to the 2005-06 All-Rookie 1st Team and concluded 3rd in votes for the 2006 NBA Rookie of the Year award. Out of all the other top ten picks from his draft year, he was the only one to start for his team in the NBA Playoffs. He is considered one of the better passing centers in the league. Bogut was cleared to play by physicians but came down with a migraine the day before he was expected to practice with the squad. Following he suffered such a grisly injury to his elbow, it wouldn’t be shocking if he was not at his best this year.

The Maggette Curse – Do you understand that the Milwaukee Bucks now have Corey Maggette on their team?  Do you really want to plop cash down on a squad that has Maggette?  The Bucks lost Luke Ridnour, Kurt Thomas, Jerry Stackhouse, Dan Gadzuric and Charlie Bell in the off-season. They obtained Maggette, Drew Gooden, Larry Sanders, Keyon Dooling, Jon Brockman and Chris Douglas-Roberts.  If the Bucks are to repeat as winners against the spread they will have to find out a way to do it with Maggette in the roster. Best of luck with that one.

Chemistry Problem – Scott Skiles is a excellent NBA head coach.  He is going to have to be a outstanding one to handle this roster.  Not merely does Milwaukee possess the mess that is Maggette, they’ve got Drew Gooden to deal with and Brandon Jennings. There is no denying the expertise of Jennings but he often wants the ball and that may not work on this team.

Some individuals making an NBA wager are forecasting the Milwaukee Bucks as the 4th top squad in the Eastern Conference.  That could be an excessive amount of to ask.  The chemistry on this team doesn’t look great and Bogut isn’t well. Last season the Bucks relied seriously upon Bogut.  They might not be able to do that this year.

40-1 at the sportsbook – The Milwaukee Bucks are 40-1 to win the NBA title this year. Those prospects are optimistic as the Bucks would have to get past Miami, Orlando and Boston in the East. That isn’t going to occur. The win total on Milwaukee is 42.5 in NBA wagering and Milwaukee may have a hard time going over that figure this season.
