Lotto Winner

If you happen to be a lotto winner your life is never going to be the same again. Not only your life, but your friends’ and relatives’ lives will also change, and the change may not always be good. Life-altering things have happened to people who have suddenly attained the status of being a lotto winner.

No matter whether you drew the winning numbers yourself or used the windows lotto pro software, the fact is that you will be richer by tens of millions of pounds or euros, and things will start to change almost immediately.

Winning a record prize of £ 11 million, Mark Gardiner was confident that all his problems were a thing of the past. However, though his current problems vanished, he got into new ones that he was neither trained for or capable of handling. Mark won the jackpot with friend and business partner Paul Maddison. Together the two of them won a record £ 22 million and Mark got his share of £ 11 million. Paul shunned the limelight and faded into the background while Mark decided to have some fun.

Before he could believe it, Mark blew half of his winnings. As he gave to friends and relatives, bought expensive cars and houses, married and then divorced, his problems never seemed to end. His family disowned him almost as if he had committed a crime. Finally, Mark regained his bearings, grew wiser, and remarried his first wife, a childhood sweetheart, whom he had divorced when he was penniless.

Gladly, not all stories are as heart breaking as the one mentioned above. There have been more than a few people who have made good on their fortune and remained grounded. Ianthe Fullagar, just a student, won an astonishing £ 7,055,142. After the to-be-expected screaming in disbelief she settled down and called her boyfriend and family and shared the news with them. Ianthe intends to share her new found wealth with those near and dear to her and to continue to pursue her degree in law. The main new thing she planned to buy was a new car.

A generous anonymous winner, without batting an eye, donated all his $3 million winnings to his church. The church has decided to expand to accommodate the growing congregation and will also donate some of the money to charities.

The point is, as a lotto winner you find yourself in the enviable position to do a lot of good for yourself and for those around you. Also, your community will benefit — if you maintain a cool head and spend the money wisely.

Support The Red Cross - Liechtenstein Lotto has a guaranteed jackpot of EURO 20 million and is the only lotto that sponsors the Red Cross. Grab a lotto ticket instantly knowing that some of your money will be going to much needed aid work all around the world!

The third round of the Carling Cup gets underway on Tuesday with an eagerly awaited Welsh clash top of the bill. Swansea and Cardiff have not met in nearly ten years so there is sure to be a tremendous atmosphere at Swansea’s Liberty Stadium on Tuesday night. Newcastle host Spurs in one of a number of all Premiership clashes this round, while the University towns of Oxford and Cambridge face each other once again on Tuesday to continue their rivalry.

Swansea v Cardiff, Tuesday, Sky Sports 2, 7:45pm

Cardiff travel to Swansea as the two sides reignite their rivalry in the Carling Cup on Tuesday night. Having been promoted to the Championship last season Swansea fans would have marked their league games against Cardiff on the calendar, but this represents the first meeting of the two since April 1999. After a promising start to life in the Championship, Swansea have stuttered of late with draws against Burnley, and a resurgent Derby County. They became the first side to beat Premiership new boys Hull City this season when they ran out 2-1 victors in the last round at the Liberty Stadium. Jordi Gomez scored the winner from the penalty spot in the 105th minute, after the Welsh side had come from a goal down to take the match into extra time. Cardiff had a remarkable run to the FA Cup final last year and will be looking for a similar performance in this competition. They beat MK Dons 2-1 in the second round at Ninian Park to set up this clash, and they were relatively comfortable once Ross McCormack had given them a 45tn minute lead from the spot.

Swansea are 11/8 with VCbet to make home advantage count, with Cardiff at 9/5 with BGbet to continue their good form in cup competitions.

If Joe Ledley scores at anytime during Swansea v Cardiff, BGbet will refund all losing first goalscorer stakes on the match.¹

If Swansea v Cardiff finishes 0-0 BGbet will refund all losing correct score bets on that game.¹

Newcastle United v Tottenham Hotspur, Wednesday, 7:45pm

Two Premiership teams that are badly out of form meet at St. James Park on Wednesday when Spurs travel to Tyneside to meet Newcastle. Both sides will welcome the break from the Premiership this game brings, and will aim to use it as a springboard to improve their league form. Holders Spurs are currently bottom of the Premiership following a disappointing start to a season that promised so much. Other than a valiant draw at Stamford Bridge they have failed to fire as expected, although they were more assured in their European cup game against Wisla Krakow last week. Newcastle have yet to get over the loss of manager Kevin Keegan last month that sent the club into turmoil, and that looks set to continue after it was put up for sale by owner Mike Ashley. Losses to Hull and West Ham have seen them drop towards the bottom of the Premiership and, like Spurs, will see this game as an opportunity to turn their season around.

BGbet have Newcastle at 11/5 for the match at St. James, with Tottenham Hotspur 29/20 with Centrebet.

If Damien Duff scores at anytime during Newcastle United v Tottenham Hotspur, BGbet will refund all losing first goalscorer stakes on the match.¹

Oxford United v Cambridge United, Tuesday, Setanta Sports 1, 7:30pm

Britain’s most prestigious University towns renew their rivalry on the football field on Tuesday when Oxford meet Cambridge in the Blue Square Premier. The two sides are at opposite ends of the table, however, with Oxford only outside of the relegation places thanks to goal difference, while Cambridge are losing out on goal difference to Histon in the race for a playoff position. As such both sides will be eager for a win here, and it is sure to be a closely contested match at the Kassam Stadium.

Oxford are 6/4 with BGbet, with Cambridge also 6/4 at BetWithRed.

If Adam Murray scores at anytime during Oxford United v Cambridge United, BGbet will refund all losing first goalscorer stakes on the match.¹

If Mitchell Cole scores at anytime during Grays v Stevenage Borough, BGbet will refund all losing first goalscorer stakes on the match.¹

Welcome to visit me, Gert Gambell at http://www.gertgambell.net/ and I will tell you how to never loose a sports bet. And it is free.

Bet on this Weekend’s Sport

Goodison Park is the scene for the first Merseyside derby of the season with the red half of the city already dreaming of a first Premiership title following an excellent start to the season. They will be looking to overhaul current leaders Arsenal, who will want to continue their recent goal spree when they welcome Hull to the Emirates on Saturday. Two sides looking to break into the top four meet at Fratton Park on Sunday when Spurs visit Portsmouth, although the top four is a distant dream to Spurs at the moment as they are bottom of the Premiership. In the final Premiership game of the weekend Manchester City travel the short distance to Wigan as they look to put recent their cup woes behind them and continue their good start to the league at the JJB stadium on Sunday.

Everton v Liverpool, Saturday, Sky Sports 1, 12:45pm

Although it may no longer be the “friendly derby” of days gone by, the Merseyside derby still has a special atmosphere compared to other derby’s across the country. It still splits families down the middle between Red and Blue, and there is still mixing of fans in the stands, something unheard of in any other derby. The atmosphere has always been white hot, however, and that will no doubt be the situation when the two sides of Liverpool meet for the 208th time on Saturday afternoon. Last season’s corresponding fixture at Goodison was a fiery affair with both Tony Hibbert and Phil Neville both being sent off for Everton, and Dirk Kuyt lucky not to follow them following a horrific two footed tackle on Neville. Liverpool won 2-1 thanks to Kuyt penalty; a decision which infuriated Everton fans denied a spot kick after Jamie Carragher wrestled Joleon Lescott to the floor.

Arsenal v Hull City, Saturday, Setanta Sports 1, 5:30pm

Hull will be hopeful of continuing their impressive start to the season when they take their unbeaten away record to North London on Saturday tea time. They will face a Arsenal side defending a 100% home record, and who have scored 21 goals in their last six games. That included six in midweek against Sheff Utd when Arsene Wenger decided to introduce some exciting new youngster. Nineteen year old Mexican Carlos Vela led the way with a hat trick, and he was supported by 16 year old Jack Wilshere and Nicklas Bendtner. Wilshire scored his first senior goal while Bendtner, a relative old head at 20, also got in on the act with two goals. Hull have made an impressive start to their Premiership life, losing only one of their opening six games. Last weeks 2-2 draw with Everton actually came as a disappointment for the Tigers, as they had been leading the game 2-0 with twenty minutes to go. Michael Turner and a Phil Neville own goal put them in a commanding position, but two quick fire goals form Cahill and Leon Osman salvaged a point for the Toffees.

Portsmouth v Tottenham Hotspur, Sunday, Sky Sports 1, 1:30pm

Portsmouth entertain Tottenham at Fratton Park on Sunday as they search for their first Premier League win since August. Defence is the main area Pompey will be focusing on in the build up to this game, having shipped 10 goals in their last two games. Six of those came in their last Premiership outing at Manchester City, although up until Robinho’s goal on 57 minutes that put City 3-0 up, the game was finely poised. However in the final 30 minutes Portsmouth capitulated under constant City pressure, and were grateful for the final whistle. Tottenham have endured a tough start to the new season, although recent cup results may have restored some much needed confidence. 2-1 wins in both the UEFA and Carling Cup in the last week has lifted some of the gloom surrounding White Hart Lane, and they will look to re-start their Premiership campaign on the back of those wins.

Wigan Athletic v Manchester City, Sunday, Sky Sports 1, 4:00pm

Wigan were one of the few Premiership sides to come through their midweek Carling Cup games comfortable, as they strolled to a 4-1 win over Ipswich at Portman Road. There seems to be a new found sense of confidence among Steve Bruce’s side as they have started the new campaign well, with just one defeat so far. Since a defeat to Chelsea in the second week of the season they have recorded some big wins over Hull and Notts. County in the Cup, as well as some hard fought draws to Sunderland and Spurs. They face an Manchester City side still coming to terms to being dumped out of the Carling Cup this week by Brighton. After drawing 1-1 in the 90 minutes, and 2-2 after extra time, they were eventually beaten 5-3 on penalties. City had been looking to seal the win in 90 minutes thanks to Gelson Fernandes 64th minute strike, but Glenn Murray equalised a minute from time to force the extra thirty minutes. The League One side then took the lead five minutes into extra time and looked to be heading for victory themselves until Steven Ireland, temporarily, spared City’s blushes in the 107th minute. They will be looking to bounce back here and continue their good start to the league.
